Notes
  • Experiment
The authors ordered the following genes on 6 BAC clones within the ipd region of mouse Chromosome 6: 1810009M01Rik (Lr8) - Abp1 - F161 - 281T - Gpnmb - Igf2bp3 (Koc13) - 385S. The authors used sequence analysis to show that the ipd phenotype in DBA/2J mice was the result of a truncated protin in Gpnmb.
