  • Experiment
    The authors constructed a physical and transcription map of the tlt locus on Chromosome 5. The physical map was constructed using three fingerprint contigs ctg759, ctg3928 and ctg2753 from the BAC fingerprint map at the Genome Sequence center in British Columbia. The order of markers around the tlt locus was determined to be : centromere - Nsg1 - 5'- Lyar - 3' - 5'-2810021O14Rik - 3' - 5'- Drd5 - 3' - 3'- Slc2a9 - 5' - D5Mit77 - 3'- Wdr1-5' - Clnk - 1700021O21Rik - D5Dmo5.

    STS markers were used to Identigy the following Chromosome 5 markers.

    Wfs1 = D5Dmo1
    Stx18 = D5Dmo2
    Nsg1 = D5Dmo3
    Drd5 = D5Dmo4
    Clnk = D5Dmo5
    Hs3st1 = D5Dmo6
    Prom1 = D5Dmo7
    Bst1 = D5Dmo8
