    Progeny from the (NFS/N x M. spretus))F1 x M.spretus or C58/J backcross were used to map Gje1 to mouse Chromosome 5. The order of loci is as follows: Zp3 - 2.0 +/- 1.4 cM - Gje1 - 1.3 +/- 1.3 cM - Mad1l1 - 1.3 +/- 1.3 cM - Ccnb1-rs1 - 6.5 +/- 2.6 cM - Slc7a1.
