Notes
  • Experiment
    The authors constructed a physical map of the Clock locus on mouse Chromosome 5 using the BAC52, BAC54, BAC49 and YAC55. A shotgun sequencing approach was used to sequence a 204 kb region flanking the locus. The order and orientation of markers was: centromere - D5Mit307 - 5'- Srd5a2l - 3' - 5'- Tparl - 5' - Apc-ps1 - 3' - Tparl-3' - 3'- Clock - 3'- Ube2n-ps1 - 5' - Clock - 5' - 3'- Pdcl2 - 5' - D5Nwu2 - 3' - Nmu-5'. Additionally, there are two copies of the pseudogene Pafah1b1-ps2 integrated in the Nmu and Srd5a2l gene regions.
