    The authors determine by sequence and RFLP analysis that mutations in sequence of Grid2 are responsible for the ho4J and hoTgN37Inra phenotypes. Allele ho4J lacks a central 510bp portion of the coding region. Transcripts of the hoTgN37Inra allelereveal a 4kb 3' deletion.
