At E8.5, the majority of Got2^em1(IMPC)Mbp/Got2^em1(IMPC)Mbp (Got2-/-) mutants display abnormal head shape and some have abnormal allantois (such as that pictured here). By E9.5 all Got2-/- embryos are delayed and display incomplete turning, most have abnormally shaped heads and defects/delays in cranial neural tube closure. In many mutants the hearts display abnormal shape.
