Histologic analysis of tibialis anterior muscle. Cross-sections of tibialis anterior muscle from 6 week old wild-type (A-C), Myh4^tm1Lnwd/Myh4^tm1Lnwd (D-F) and Myh1^tm1Lnwd/Myh1^tm1Lnwd (G-I) mice were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E, A,D and G), Masson trichrome (B,E and H) and NADH-TR (C,F and I). Note the general disarray (Myh1^tm1Lnwd/Myh1^tm1Lnwd, G), change in fiber diameter in H&E and NADH-TR stained (F and I) and the interstitial fibrosis visualized with Masson Trichrome staining (E and H).
