Phenotype Image Detail
Caption B-D: Hart's staining of the transverse sections of ligated arteries. Neointima and vascular remodleing were compared between wild-type (B), Fbln5tm1Eno/Fbln5tm1Eno carotid arteries (C) and Elntm1Dyl/Eln+ carotid arteries after 28 days of ligation. Both Fbln5tm1Eno/Fbln5tm1Eno carotid arteries and Elntm1Dyl/Eln+ carotid arteries exhibited decreased extensibility; however, there was no outward remodeling or increased neointima formation in the Elntm1Dyl/Eln+ vessel. Scalebar: 40um
