(B )A single coronal suture is shown in serial sections, proceeding from a point of fusion in the highest panel (equivalent to the position of the WT sections in (A) towards the base of the suture in the lowest panel (direction of vertical arrow; see small arrow in Fig. 1B). Serial sections are separated by 90 microns in the vertical direction. P, parietal; F, frontal. The endocranial surface is at the lower side of each panel. Bar, 100 microns.
