Immunolabeling of putative types 1 or 2 (arrowheads) and type 3a (arrows) cells, respectively, does not overlap in cell somas or axon terminals (A'-C'). (D-F') Immunolabeling in Irx6^lacZ/lacZ;Vsx1^+/AltB5 retina. Immunolabeling in putative type 3a cells that exhibit type 3a axon stratification are coimmunolabeled as indicated by cells with asterisked arrows. Putative type 1 or 2 cells expressing only Nk3r and not Hcn4 are labeled with an arrowhead. (G-I') Immunolabeled Irx6^lacZ/lacZ;Vsx1^AltB5/AltB5 retina.
