Arrowheads in (C) show the co-localisation of Dll3 (brown) and Dll1 (blue). Black arrowhead in (D) shows the overlapping domain of Dll3 (blue) and Dll1 (brown), arrow shows the expression of Dll3 adjacent to the basal surface, and the white arrowhead points to the gap adjacent to the lumen where Dll1 is not expressed. (E) Higher magnification of a similar region to the box in D. (F) Anterior view of the embryo.
