Purkinje cells are scattered throughout the granule cell layer and beneath it, mixing with neurons of the deep cerebellar nuclei. LFB-CV x 31. B: Center of the cross-section of cerebellum from a wild-type littermate control. The cortex is distinctly layered and clearly distinct from the deep cerebellar nuclei (arrows). LFB-CV = 15.5.
