Electron microscopic analysis of livers from wild type, Ikbkb^tm1Mka/Ikbkb⁺ and Ikbkb^tm1Mka/Ikbkb^tm1Mka at E13. Both wild type (A) and Ikbkb^tm1Mka/Ikbkb⁺ (B) livers exhibited normal morphology. The Ikbkb^tm1Mka/Ikbkb^tm1Mka liver (C) exhibited varying degrees of apoptosis characterized by collapsed and condensed nuclei and general cellular degeneration. Scale bars: 5um.
