Left column are horizontal view whilst the middle column shows sagittal view. The diagram on the right summarizes the distribution of bgal1 cells and their fibers at each of the corresponding fetal stages. At least 10 brains were analyzed for each developmental stage. The images were placed with anterior to the top (left panel) and left (middle panel) for the horizontal and sagittal views, respectively. Scale bar 5 0.5 mm for a-c, e-g, and 0.66 mm for d and h.
