(a) Values are listed as levels of the Col2a1 IIA isoform expressed as a percentage of the total copy number of IIA, IIB, IIC and IID in chondrocytes from wild type, ki/+ and ki/ki cartilage at each time point. Strength was assigned by curator as follows: >= 90% = strong; 10-89% = present; 1-9.9% = weak; 0.1-0.9% = trace; <0.09 = ambiguous; 0.00 = absent. (b) 94.88%.
