immune system
• mice have fewer circulating T cells than in Sgpl1tm1(SGPL1)Lex homozygotes
• a small number of distended osteoclasts are present at the growth plate
• however, mice exhibit normal trabecular bone in the meptaphysis and diaphysis of the long bones
• mice exhibit the same defects in lymphoid tissue morphology as in Sgpl1tm1(SGPL1)Lex homozygotes
• however, mice do not exhibit defects in non-lymphoid tissues
• the number of lymphocytes in the thymic cortex is mildly decreased compared to in wild-type mice
• the number of lymphocytes in the medulla is mildly increased compared to in wild-type mice

renal/urinary system
• mice exhibit multifocal minimal vacuolization and degeneration of the urinary bladder urothelium unlike in wild-type mice

skeleton
