• the increase in maximal bending angles of flagella relative to sperm heads (alpha-angle) that is seen after 2 hours of incubation in capacitation medium is not seen, indicating abnormal flagellar motility patterns
• decrease in the percentage of progressive spermatozoa after 10 min and 120 min of incubation in capacitation medium
• males show slightly decreased fertility
• however, no apparent anomalies in morphology of the male reproductive organs are seen
