normal phenotype
• homozygotes are viable and overtly normal with no signs of pathology or lysosomal dysfunction in the brain, liver and spleen and no differences in major immune cell populations in the bone marrow, spleen, thymus or lymph nodes relative to wild-type controls
• MEFs show normal morphology of endo-/lysosomes with no alterations in autophagy or lysosomal exocytosis
