• in addition to the altered CD4+ and CD8+ numbers, there is a slight increase in the number of CD4/CD8 double negative and NKT cells relative to H2 class I null/class II intact mice
decreased alpha-beta T cell number ( J:257229 )
• only approximately 12% of splenocytes are Thy1.2+, and of these only 60% are alpha/beta T cells with an increase in percentage of gamma/delta T cells
• there are fewer splenic CD8+ T cells than in NOD controls but more than in histocompatibility class I null/class II intact mice
decreased CD4-positive, alpha-beta T cell number ( J:257229 )
• drastically reduced CD4+ splenocyte number
