• mice exposed to hyperthermia fail to exhibit progression of seizures beyond score 3 with complete absence of electrographic seizures compared with wild-type mice

• under current clamp conditions, the slope of the depolarizing shift is lower than in wild-type neurons

• GABA application injected at the stratum radiatum and stratum lacunosum-moleculare border evokes hardly any spiking even with the longest puff compared with wild-type neurons
