Tg(Shh)#Dje mutation (0 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
nervous system
• cerebellum is larger than in Tg(Shh)#Dje-expressing mice
• mutants have an extra lobule on rostral face of lobule VI
• foliation is not enhanced compared to non transgenic conditional Gli2 knockouts

Mouse lines carrying:
Shhtm1Chg mutation (1 available); any Shh mutation (45 available)
Tg(Shh)#Dje mutation (0 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
nervous system
• partial loss of Shh partially rescues Tg(Shh)#Dje phenotype; at E18.5, in some animals, cerebellum is slightly smaller than that of transgenics alone
• IGL is not as thick or irregular as that of Shh transgenic mice and overall size is reduced

behavior/neurological
• observed in transgenic mice
• observed in transgenic mice
• circling (related to vestibular apparatus dysfunction) is observed

hearing/vestibular/ear
• at E15.5, only 1 or 2 sensory patches are observed
• identifiable canals are absent at E15.5
• identifiable utricle and saccule are absent at E15.5

nervous system
• number of neurons contributing to cochleovestibular ganglion is increased 2 fold over wild-type at E10.5

phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
nervous system
• cerebellum is larger than wild-type especially in the AP axis in adult mutant (J:94461)
• mice develop larger cerebellum than controls (J:108507)
• at P14, EGL contains 3-4 cell layers vs a single layer in wild-type
• EGL persists until P16 while in normal littermates it is gone
• lobes in vermis and hemispheres are larger than in wild-type in adults
• IGL is thicker and irregular compared to wild-type in lobes III, IV, V, and IX; overall, IGL in mutants is 30% larger than in wild-type in adults (J:94461)
• IGL surrounding primary fissure is irregular with distinct bulges (J:94461)
• IGL at P28 is more irregular than at P14 (J:94461)
• IGL is thicker and irregular compared to wild-type (J:108507)

cellular
• cell proliferation is detected in mutant EGL at P16 while in wild-type it stops at P14
