homeostasis/metabolism
• treatment with ATPgammaS in the presence of nerve growth factor does not increase dorsal root ganglion neuronal differentiation as in wild-type
• injection of ATPgammaS into the sciatic nerve does not increase growth-associated protein-43, a marker for axonal growth, as in wild-type

homeostasis/metabolism
• intracellular calcium responses to nucleotides (UTP, ATP, ADP, UDP) are abolished in cultured lung fibroblasts (J:57617)
• intracellular calcium responses to UTP are abolished in tracheal and nasal epithelial cells and responses to ATP are substantially reduced in tracheal (74.5%) and nasal (44%) epithelial cells, however no reduction in calcium responses to ADP, 2-MeSATP, 2-MeSADP or UDP (J:57617)
• chloride secretory responses to UTP and ATP are reduced by 83-95% in excised tracheas and responses to alpha,beta-meATP (91%), 2-MeSATP (84%), and 2-MeSADP (54%) are substantially reduced, however no reduction in chloride secretory responses to UDP (J:57618)
• chloride secretory responses to ATP are reduced by 88% in excised gallbladders and responses to UTP are reduced by 30% in excised gallbladders, however no reduction in chloride secretory responses to UDP (J:57618)
• chloride secretory responses to nucleotides in the jejunum are not altered (J:57618)
• intracellular calcium and inositol phosphate responses to nucleotides (UTP, ATP, ADP, UDP) are abolished in cultured lung fibroblasts (J:57617)
