muscle
• muscle fatigue resistance is enhanced as mice fatigue less with treadmill exercise and isolated soleus and extensor digitorum longus muscles are more resistant to intermittent fatiguing stimulation
• store-operated calcium entry (SOCE) is enhanced in muscles

Abnormal sarcoplasmic reticulum structures in Srltm1Hta/Srltm1Hta skeletal muscle

muscle
• cardiac myocytes exhibit slow contraction and relaxation accompanied by impaired calcium transients
• irregular sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) ultrastructure with a significant reduction in the amount of tubular SR structure
• cardiac myocytes exhibit slow contraction and relaxation accompanied by impaired calcium transients
• percentage of fractional shortening and heart rate-corrected velocity of circumferential fiber shortening, indicators or systolic cardiac function, are significantly lower
• skeletal muscle retains normal force generation but shows slow relaxation phases after contractions
• calcium uptake activity is weakened in the sarcoplasmic reticulum of skeletal muscle

cardiovascular system
• maximal derivative of left ventricular pressure, an indicator of systolic function, is significantly decreased, and the apparent time constant in the left ventricular diastolic phase, and indicator of diastolic function, is increased, however have no abnormalities in heart rate, left ventricular systolic pressure, or left ventricular end diastolic pressure
• cardiac myocytes exhibit slow contraction and relaxation accompanied by impaired calcium transients
• percentage of fractional shortening and heart rate-corrected velocity of circumferential fiber shortening, indicators or systolic cardiac function, are significantly lower
• cardiac myocytes exhibit slow contraction and relaxation accompanied by impaired calcium transients
