• culturing bone marrow cells with IL-7 leads to 75% development of "Fraction C" pro-B cells compared to 50% in controls
• T1 transitional B cell numbers are increased 6-fold in the spleen of 8 week old mice
• the number of recirculating mature B cells in the bone marrow of 8 week old mice is about half that of controls
