taste/olfaction

impaired olfaction ( J:199798 )

• mice show virtually no detectable focal signals when presented with the an array of odors, suggesting loss of olfactory function

• administration of doxycycline from 3 to 4 weeks of age, results in modest odor-induced SpH-signals, while administration for 3 weeks, further restores odor-induced signals, with more glomeruli activated by odors
