reproductive system
• germ cell depletion is more severe than in the single Pafah1b2 homozygote
• multinucleated giant cells are seen in the seminiferous epithelium
• testis tubular structures are less obvious and the lumen is small
• testis weigh about 30% of that of control mice
• disruption occurs at the initiation phase of spermatogenesis
• males are infertile, however female fertility is unaffected
