• proliferative responses of mutant CD4+ T cells to antigen stimulation are similar to wild-type
• mutant cells exhibit similar antigen presentation activities to wild-type in presence of diverse CD4+ T cell clones
• compared to Cd74tm1Liz spleen cells which have reduced levels of class II (I-Ab surface antigens), mutants have similar levels to wild-type or p31 expressing mutants
