behavior/neurological
• starting at 7 months of age

neoplasm
• highly aggressive hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs)
• HCCs in 6 out of 7 asymptomatic mice at 7 months old
• Western blotting, PCR analysis of HCCs reveals the absence of wild-type proteins and DNA of both alleles
• mice that show morbidity (13 out of 16 by 15 months old) harbor liver tumors

liver/biliary system
• some mice display overgrowth (2- to 4-fold) of the apparently normal liver tissue
