Mutation details: Glycine codon 766 (GGC) in exon 17 was changed to arginine (CGC) (c.2296G>C, p.G766R) and a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene and CAG-cre/ERT2 cassette was inserted into intron 19. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent tamoxifen-induced Cre-mediated recombination. The mutation is the equivalent of the same human mutation associated with oncogenic chromosomal translocations in B cells that lead to multiple myeloma (MM).
