Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Humanized sequence, Modified isoform(s))
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsThreonine codon 1860 (ACG), in an alternatively spliced exon in transcript ENSMUST00000182992, was changed to methionine (ATG) (ENSMUSP00000138686:p.T1860M) using sgRNAs (equivalent to GCCCATTAAAACATTGACTACGG and CTCCGTAGTCAATGTTTTAATGG) and an ssODN template with CRISPR/Cas9 technology. The mutation is the equivalent of the human Q12955-3:p.T1861M mutation associated with ASD and other neurological impairments and in mice causes some motor and social behavior deficits. (J:385905)
