  The targeting vector is designed to insert a 113kb (Chr1:226823270 - 226935953) fragment of the human PSEN2 in place of Chr1:180028072 180100006; 72kb of the mouse Psen2 gene. The construct includes a loxP-flanked neomycin selection cassette. The insertion disrupts Psen2 transcription. The neomycin cassette was removed by transient expression of Cre. (J:101977, J:347607)
