description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutation:    Insertion

Bsgem1(BSG)Dfl expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe human BSG (CD147) cDNA was targeted to exon 1 via CRISPR/Cas9 technology resulting in a fusion protein with the first 22 amino acids of mouse Bsg signal peptide and amino acids 23-385 of human BSG that is expressed from the mouse promoter. Immunohistochemistry confirmed expression of the human protein in all tissues assayed in heterozygotes, as well as in red blood cells in the lung. (J:369237)
