• Mutation details: The transgene insert comprises BAC RP23-354G20 (containing Nr5a1 and 106 kb up- and 100 kb downstream) modified as follows: sequence from the Nr5a1 translation start site in exon 2 through part-way into intron 4 was replaced with the EGFP fluorescent reporter gene, SV40 poly(A) signal sequences, an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette and a loxP site. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. The BAC also contains the 3' end of Nr6a1, Nr6a1os, Nr5a1os, Adgrd2-ps and the 5' end of Psmb7. (J:334323)
