Mutation details: The whole coding region was replaced with human placental alkaline phosphatase gene and a neomycin resistance gene under the promoter of the Amigo2 gene. Absence of transcript expression was confirmed by RT-PCR. This is a null allele. RT-qPCR also showed no changes in Amigo1 or Amigo3 mRNA levels suggesting no compensation from the other Amigos.
