Parent Cell Line:  Not Specified (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 12. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 12. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 12 and the resistance cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in mouse embryonic fibroblasts. (J:205929)
