Mutation details: Mobilization of the transposon from Tn(sb-SBlac)C.176599bFsp transgenic mice with Sleeping Beauty transposase from an unidentified line of Tg(Prm1-sb16)Fsp transgenic mice results in the integration of the transposon into chromosome 2 at position 74627958-74628736 5' of Mtx2. The transposon consists of a human beta globin minimal promoter driven lacZ reported gene and a loxP site placed between the sleeping beauty inverted terminal repeats. LacZ expression is detected in the digestive, neural tube and somites of E11.5 embryos.
