Mutation details: The targeting constructed inserted between exon 1 and 2 contained a floxed splice acceptor neomycin resistance cassette and translation initiation site with 2 polyadenylation sequences followed by a truncated Notch2 cDNA encoding the intracellular domain. Cre-mediated recombination is required to achieve expression of the Notch2 intracellular domain.
