Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 8 and a loxP site and FRT flanked neo cassette were inserted downstream of exon 8 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Cre mediated recombination removed exon 8. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on E11.5 embryonic extracts.
