description
Allele Type:    Targeted
Mutations:    Insertion, Intergenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe human monoclonal antibody 2F5 was targeted into the J region removing J1 through 4 to produce chimeric human/mouse 2F5 antibodies. A floxed neo cassette used for ES cell selection was removed by cre mediated recombination. The 2F5 antibody is a polyreactive and broadly neutralizing antibody that protects against simian HIV challenge. (J:155798)
