Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Gene trapped (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion of gene trap vector     Vector: pGT0lxr

Mutation detailsThe gene trap vector inserted into intron 17. Quantitative real-time PCR detects both mutant and low levels of wild-type transcript in fibroblasts from homozygous mice. Western blot analysis detected low levels of protein in fibroblasts and multiple tissues from homozygous mice. The mutant protein fails to integrate into the Vac14 complex. (J:190368)
