Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA loxP site and an frt flanked pGKNeo cassette were inserted upstream of exon 13. A modified YFP reporter (Venus) was inserted in frame in exon 15. Mice expressing the fusion protein encoded by this modification were crossed with an unspecified FLP expressing mouse line to excise the neomycin selection cassette. The resulting allele has exons 13 through the coding portion of exon 15 flanked by loxP sites. (J:132370)
