Parent Cell Line:  R1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (129X1/SvJ x 129S1/Sv)F1-Kitl+
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, No functional change)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA pair of loxP sequences are located in the first and second introns, flanking exon 2. A single FRT sequence is present immediately downstream of the more 5' loxP as a consequence of the removal of an frt-flanked neomycin seletion cassette. (J:111388)

Carrying this Mutation:  Mouse Strains: 1 strain available      Cell Lines: 0 lines available
Carrying any Gata6 Mutation:  32 strains or lines available
Notes
This allele was derived by deletion of an FRT-flanked neomycin phosphotransferase gene that in the original construct lay just downstream of the 5' loxP site. Mice homozygous for the neo-containing allele could not be recovered from heterozygous matings. (J:111388)
