Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA termination codon was introduced at codon 366 followed by a polyadenylation signal and neomycin selection cassette. This was inserted at the beginning of exon 10 such that exon 10, encoding the transcriptional activation domain, was not expressed. Labelling and immunoprecipitation experiments in mutant splenocytes demonstrated that a stable, truncated form of the encoded protein is expressed from this allele. (J:46911)
