• Mutation details: cDNA encoding the human cyclin-dependent kinase 4 gene was placed into a vector under control of the bovine keratin 5 regulatory sequences and containing the rabbit beta-globin intron 2 and the SV40 3' polyadenylation sequences. Western blots of epidermal tissue showed a 7.5-fold increase in CDK4 protein levels in this line. (J:108690)
