• Mutation details: A loxP site was inserted into intron 1 and a neomycin resistance gene cassette with a loxP site was inserted into intron 2. The neo cassette and exon 2 were removed by transfecting a GFP-Cre plasmid followed by fluorescence-activated cell sorting for GFP+ cells. This allele emulates the N-terminally truncated human "s" isoform that is translated from the downstream ATG start codon in exon 3. (J:99310, J:152597)
