Mutation details: The gene was disrupted by replacement of exon 3 with a PGK-neo cassette via homologous recombination. The targeted mutation deletes residues 549-657 of the PP1c binding domain. Western blot analysis of homozygous mutant fibroblasts detected a truncated protein product. Absence of protein activity was confirmed by immunoprecipitation analysis.
