Parent Cell Line:  AB1 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S7/SvEvBrd-Hprt1+
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsA neomycin resistance cassette was inserted into exon 3. The truncated protein is predicted to be inactive and also lack the cysteine at position 352 which is ADP-ribosylated by pertussis toxin. No protein was detected in homogenates from homozygous mice by ADP-ribosylation with pertussis toxin. The absence of protein was also confirmed by immunoblotting. (J:24434, J:194592)
