Notes

Ar^Tfm-Lac, testicular feminization-Laboratory Animal Centre. A second allele was found at the Laboratory Animal Centre, Carshalton (J:30971). Preliminary experiments indicate that androgen receptors in mice bearing this allele are more severely reduced than in ArTfm, but the residual receptors appear to be indistinguishable from wild-type receptors (J:7179).
