Molecular description: Recombinase-mediated cassette exchange (RMCE) replaced the expression cassette between the JT15 and lox2272 sites of Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1Maoh with Thy1-Dre cassette. Flp-mediated recombination removed the extra sequence downstream of the Thy1-Dre in the construct flanked by FRT sites. Lines 1-3 are established exhibiting similar recombination activity patterns. This allele is an representative of all three lines.
