Molecular description:

Homologous recombination was employed to insert an IRES-cre/ERT2-Frt-neo-Frt cassette 259 bp downstream of the stop codon of the Foxl2 gene. Chimeras were bred to C57BL/6 mice, and F1 animals were crossed to flp-expressing mice to delete the neo marker.
